Something different every day

At Špajza we cook whatever the market has that week: pumpkins and porcini in autumn, young peas in spring, tomatoes and peppers in summer. The Dolac market is a three-minute walk away, so the vegetables arrive fresh, and the cheese and cream come from a family in the Zagorje hills.

The menu of the day goes up on the blackboard every morning: soup, a main course and something sweet, always with a vegetarian swap. In the evening there is a short menu of the dishes you wish for at a Sunday table.
